Action Principle
The ST4001A electrostatic generator can output positive high voltage up to -30Kv, and the output can be continuously adjusted. Instructions for Use of Electrostatic Generator
1. Main Points
The electrostatic generator consists of a high voltage generator and a discharge rod.
Please read this manual carefully before installing and using this product.
Please follow the requirements of this manual to avoid damage, loss and risk.
2. Safety
Do not use it in flammable and explosive environment.
For safe and correct operation, please ensure that the equipment is grounded reliably.
The high-voltage generator is used to supply high voltage to the discharge rod, and its electrode
discharges.
Don't point the electrode at the human body; Do not touch the electrodes to avoid electric shock.
3. Use and Operation
The high voltage generator and the discharge rod constitute an electrostatic discharge system.
The output voltage of the high voltage generator is 0~40Kv.
The high voltage generator is connected with relay and photoelectric switch to realize remote
control of high voltage output.

5. Installation
5.1 Check
Check whether the high voltage generator is intact.
Check whether the packing accessories are complete.

5.2 Grounding
Warning:
To ensure safety and normal operation of equipment, please ensure reliable grounding of
equipment.
5.3 Installation
Warning:
Do not install the high-voltage generator in a damp, dirty, flammable and explosive environment.
The high voltage generator must be installed in a place without vibration.
1. The high-voltage generator shall be installed at a convenient location and as close as possible to
the discharge rod.
2. If necessary, use screws to fix the high voltage generator.
3. Connect the grounding wire to the grounding post.
4. Plug the discharge rod into the output jack of the high voltage generator and lock it with its own
nut.
4. Turn the [ON/OFF] switch to the OFF position.

Note:
High-voltage lines must not touch sharp metal parts or bends.
High voltage lines should be separated from low voltage lines.
The shorter the high-voltage line, the better.
6. Use
6.1 Power on and off
Energize = [ON/OFF] switch is in [ON] position.
Power outage = [ON/OFF] switch is in [OFF] position.
6.2 Start and stop high voltage output
Start high voltage output = two leads of aviation plug are connected.
Stop high voltage output = two leads of aviation plug are disconnected.
6.3 Set the output voltage
Note:
The output voltage of high-voltage supply should meet the requirements. If the voltage is too high,
ignition and breakdown will occur, which will affect the normal operation of equipment and have
potential safety hazards.
High-voltage supply is equipped with large-capacity capacitor inside. When the high-voltage
supply is cut off, it is necessary to stop the machine for enough time or ground the electrode with
wire to discharge before touching the discharge needle.
Increase the output voltage = transfer the voltage adjustment knob clockwise.
Lowering the output voltage = transferring the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise.
